On the weekend of 11-13 November a team of Albatross divers travelled to Leeds to compete against many of the top northern diving clubs in the White Rose competition. The team consisted of Tilly Waight, Milly Orgill, Lucy Chambers, Adam Elder, Freya Nelis, Henry Middleton and coach Bernie Bicknell.

The first diver to compete was Lucy Chambers in the Girls C2 event. Lucy had a good competition scoring high marks for her poolside dives and line ups from the 3m board to finish the event in 6th place and qualifying for the final. In the final the top six divers perform another three dives, Lucy finished in the final in 6th place.

Next up was Henry Middleton in the Boys B event. Henry dived well on his back one and somersaults with half twist from the 3m board scoring 38 points to finish in 3rd place. In the final Henry won the Bronze medal, scoring highly on his inward one and half somersaults from 1m.

Adam Elder dived in the Boys C2 event, putting in a very good set of dives and scoring well on all of his dives from poolside, to finish in 11th place.

The final event of the weekend saw Milly Orgill, Tilly Waight and Freya Nellis competing in the Girls B+ event, with Tilly and Milly diving up an age group. Both had excellent competitions scoring highly on all their dives and just missing out on qualifying for the final by 2 and 4 points respectively with Tilly finishing in 7th place and Milly in 8th place. Freya had an excellent competition scoring almost 43 points on her inward one and half somersaults tuck from the 1m board as well as scoring well on the rest of her dives. Freya finished in 4th place to qualify for the final. Freya could not improve on her position and eventually finished 5th in the final.
