It was gold medals all round for Team Albatross divers who attended the Surrey County Swim England 1m Age Group competition.  This annual event was hosted by Star Diving in Guildford on March 17th.  Milly OrgillHernan Mosqueda-Jolly and senior diver and coach Matt Pipe all dived well to finish in first place in their events.

Results in the age group competition were as follows:

B Girls – Milly Orgill – Gold – 154.25

C Boys – Hernan Mosqueda-Jolly – Gold – 128.10

F Men – Matt Pipe – Gold – 151.75

Milly Orgill also went on to shine in the open championships where she performed a full list of dives to take the gold medal with 256.75 points!

The Surrey County 1m Age Groups and 1m Championships are an annual 1m age groups and championship for divers in the county of Surrey although non-Surrey divers are welcome to compete. Medals are awarded to the top three Surrey divers in each event and guest medals to any non-Surrey divers finishing in the top three.The competition is a great precursor to National finals which will be held in Sheffield in June.  The Reading divers all gained valuable experience and are looking forward to representing Albatross in Sheffield.
